HI THERE, I’M DANIELLE!
If you’re anything like me, you wear many hats…
You manage the cooking, the cleaning, the kids, AND the finances.
It’s a lot to keep up with, so there are days when you’re totally crushing it, and then there are other days when you feel like you just can’t “get it together.”
Especially when you try to save money, but you don’t have anything left over at the end of the month because you order in pizza every night.
Or when you try to keep the house looking decent but the kids leave their toys and shoes EVERYWHERE, so it makes you want to give up at the end of the day.
I know this is true, not because I’m spying on you, but because I’ve been there.
At one point, our money was so out-of-control that we were using our credit cards in between paydays. And our home was never clean enough to have ANYone come over.
But in the last 5 years, we‘ve successfully reduced our spending by over $22,000 in a year, paid off $10,000 in debt, and I quit my job after I had baby #2 to stay at home with my kids — even though I was the breadwinner!
I researched how to manage money, started changing the things we could control, figured out how to stay organized (with four kids at home), and I got really good a budgeting money on a small income.
So now I want to help you!
Because when you’re trying to stay on top of your home and money with kids, you don’t always have time for clipping coupons, cooking ingredients from scratch, or wiping down every. single. baseboard. in your house (when your mother-in-law comes to visit).
You need super SIMPLE ideas that you can implement immediately to make your house a home (without losing your mind) and to help you stop living paycheck-to-paycheck so you can start crushing your debt.
My mission here on Dollars & Diapers is to help you get your home and money under control by eliminating everyday chaos, so you can have your sanity back.
I’m extremely passionate about saving you more time, more money, and simplifying all of your mommy duties. That’s why I write a lot about budgeting, frugality, time management, and getting organized!
Feel free to browse around and make yourself right at home. 🙂
